Shipping Insurance Policy
1. Introduction This Shipping Insurance Policy applies to shipments of orders purchased through Raleigh Denim and provides coverage for any damage, loss or theft that occurs during the shipping process. By purchasing shipping insurance, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Policy.
2. Coverage Our shipping insurance covers the following:
● Damage During Transit: If your items are damaged while in transit, we will cover the cost of repair or replacement (subject to availability).
● Lost Shipments: If your items are lost in transit and cannot be located after reasonable efforts, we will provide compensation equivalent to the value of the lost items.
● Theft: In the unlikely event of theft during transit, the insured shipment will be covered under this Policy. (Once delivered not applicable)
3. What Is Not Covered The following situations are not covered by this insurance:
● Damage after Delivery: Any damage to the items after the delivery has been made.
● Incorrect Shipping Information: If the recipient provides incorrect or incomplete shipping information, we are not responsible for lost or delayed items.
● Natural Disasters: We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes, etc.) during transit.
● Item Use: The insurance does not cover items that have been worn, washed, hemmed, or otherwise used before or after delivery.
4. Filing a Claim If your items are damaged, lost, or stolen during shipping, please follow these steps to file a claim:
● Notify Us: Contact Raleigh Denim at hello@raleighdenim.com within 7 days of receiving the shipment or discovering the damage or loss.
● Provide Documentation:
You will need to provide the following:
○ Proof of purchase (order number, receipt)
○ Photos of any damage (if applicable)
○ A description of the issue
● Investigation: We will investigate the claim, and if necessary, we may require additional information from you or the shipping carrier. Claims may take up to 14 days to process.
5. Compensation Once your claim is approved, we will offer compensation in the following manner:
● Replacement: We will send you a suitable replacement, if available.
6. Additional Terms
● Shipping insurance is optional but recommended for valuable or fragile items.
● Shipping insurance fees will be charged at the time of purchase and are non-refundable.
● Raleigh Denim reserves the right to amend or cancel this Policy at any time.
