Formerly known as Cone R.I.P., this denim comes from one of the last remaining rolls woven at the historic White Oak Mill in Greensboro, North Carolina.

For years, we've held onto this fabric, waiting for the right moment to use it. That moment is now.

Woven from 13oz rope-dyed selvage denim, the Catawba has a rich, deep blue color that reminded us of the waters of its namesake river. It's substantial without being overly heavy and built to break in beautifully over time.

The story behind the fabric is just as compelling. White Oak was the last Cone Mills selvage denim operation, producing denim in Greensboro until the mill's closure in 2017. The mill's roots stretch back more than a century and helped establish North Carolina as the center of American denim manufacturing.

Every pair is cut, sewn, and finished in our Raleigh workshop.

GRAHAM- WORK TAPER fit

With extra room in the waistband, seat, + thigh and a tapered leg, the Graham is perfect for wearing relaxed/dropped, or true-to size for more muscular builds. 14" leg opening, 11" front rise, 34" inseam Fits a little big.

Take the next size down, if you are in between sizes. This jean will stretch 1” with wear. If you start them comfortably snug (or ever-so-slightly-uncomfortably-snug), they will stretch out to be the next size up + a perfect fit.

We recommend ordering a couple sizes and sending back what doesn't work to ensure you find the right fit.

Fabric + Care

100% Cotton. Made in the USA. Indigo may bleed.

Care: turn inside-out, wash cold separately. Hang or lay flat to dry. 

For the very best break-in, we recommend 3-6 months of regular wear before washing.

We offer free shipping and returns on all orders over $250.

All orders will be processed within 1-3 business days of being placed.

  • Orders placed before 9am EST will ship the same day.
  • Orders placed after 9am EST will ship the next day.
  • Orders placed after 9am EST on Fridays and anytime on weekends will ship the following Monday.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

This Shipping Insurance Policy applies to shipments of orders purchased through Raleigh Denim and provides coverage for any damage, loss or theft that occurs during the shipping process. By purchasing shipping insurance, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Policy.
